The List is a personal reservation concierge that books and manages restaurant tables on your behalf. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

The short version: We collect only what we need to book your tables and message you about them. We never sell your information, and we never share your phone number or personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

What we collect

Your contact details — your name, phone number, and email address, which you give us when you connect.
Your Resy access — a secure access credential for your Resy account, so we can book, change, and cancel reservations for you. We keep this connection active automatically so you never have to reconnect, and hold it only until you disconnect. We never see or store your Resy password.
Your requests and messages — the reservation requests you send us and the back-and-forth of our conversation, so the concierge can understand and act on them.
Reservation details — the restaurants, dates, times, and party sizes you ask us to book or watch.

How we use it

To book, change, cancel, and watch for reservations on your behalf using your Resy account.
To message you by text about your reservations and requests.
To place phone calls to restaurants on your behalf, in your name, when a table can only be booked by phone. These calls use an AI voice that identifies itself as a concierge calling for you.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Text messages

If you connect by text message, we use your phone number only to reply to you about your reservations and requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or any personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your opt-in to text messaging is never shared with anyone.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we use to actually run the concierge, and only the minimum each one needs to do its job. We never share it for anyone's marketing. These include:

Resy — to book and manage your reservations.
Twilio — to send you texts and to place phone calls to restaurants.
ElevenLabs — to power the AI voice on those phone calls.
Google — to look up restaurant locations, phone numbers, and hours.
Our hosting and database providers — to run the service securely.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

How we protect it

Your Resy access is encrypted at rest and kept active automatically so you never have to reconnect; it is deleted the moment you disconnect. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

Disconnect anytime. Text the concierge /disconnect, and your stored Resy access is wiped immediately.
Stop texts anytime. Reply STOP and we will stop texting you.
Ask us to delete your data. Email us and we will remove your information from our systems.

Children

The List is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
